The Palestinian Prisoners Club yesterday warned that more Gaza detainees will die inside Israeli jails after occupation forces escalated arrest campaigns against Palestinians as part of its latest aggression against northern Gaza.
This came after Israel announced the arrest of 200 Palestinians from Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza as part of its new aggression which began 20 days ago.
In a press statement issued yesterday, the rights group highlighted the major difficulties facing humanitarian organisations that are following up on the condition of Gaza detainees as Israel continues to forcibly disappear hundreds of them, even after legal rulings that allowed rights institutions to investigate their fate, identify their places of detention and conduct limited visits to them.
Videos Israeli occupation forces have shared on social media show them rounding up men and boys, stripping them to their underwear, tying their hands together and blindfolding them before cramming them in the back on military pickup trucks and disappearing them.

Israel has revealed the names of only 24 Gaza detainees who have died in its prisons and detention camps, out of 41 martyrs who died due to torture, starvation, humiliation, abuse, medical crimes and sexual assaults, including rape.
Occupation authorities refuse to disclose the exact number of Palestinians detainees held in its prisons, but in early October, it revealed the detention of 1,618 non- combatants including women and children.
