CNN commentator to Mehdi Hasan: ‘I hope your beeper doesn’t go off’

A pro-Israel commentator told Mehdi Hasan that he 'hopes his beeper doesn't go off' in response to the British journalist calling himself 'a supporter of Palestine.' A stunned Hasan struck back at conservative writer Ryan Girdusky, asking him, 'are you saying I should die?' before criticising the network, CNN, for bringing on a guest that would make a comment like this. Girdusky was taken off air by CNN and banned from future broadcasts after the comment, for which they apologised directly to Mehdi Hasan.
