Report: 1,550 disabled soldiers admitted for rehab every month

About 1,550 injured Israeli soldiers are admitted for rehabilitation in the Defence Ministry every month, Israeli website Srugim reported yesterday.

The Israeli Defence Ministry had previously admitted that 772 soldiers have been killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023.

Earlier, Lebanese Hezbollah said 70 Israeli soldiers were killed and 600 were wounded during confrontations with the group’s fighters in southern Lebanon.

Israel escalated its air strikes across Lebanon in September and killed senior Hezbollah figures, including Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

Over 2,670 people have been killed and nearly 12,500 injured in Israeli attacks since October last year, according to Lebanese health authorities.

Israel expanded the conflict on 1 October this year by launching a ground assault into southern Lebanon.
