Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has renewed his offer to the residents of the Gaza Strip of a financial reward to anyone who reveals information about the whereabouts of the hostages in Gaza and helps to free them. He also offered them the option of life, or death and destruction.

“Whoever brings a hostage alive out of Gaza will receive $5 million; others who bring valuable information will also be compensated,” Netanyahu told the weekly cabinet session. “I appeal to the residents of Gaza: You can choose life and ensure your future and that of your families, or you can cling to death and destruction. The choice is yours; choose life.”

The Israeli leader pointed out that the regime authorities are checking to see if the details released by Hamas on Sunday do in fact show the body of one the female hostages. “At this stage, the details cannot be verified. We are in contact with the family and an appropriate statement has been issued to all the families. Our hearts are with them.”

He then claimed that his far-right regime is “committed to doing everything to bring back all of the hostages, both the living and the deceased, of course.” This, he said, is a “sacred” goal. “I said last week as I visited our forces in Gaza, and I reiterate today: Whoever dares to harm the lives of our hostages, will pay the price.”
