Commenting on the arrest warrants issued recently by the International Criminal Court (ICC), Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated that the noose is tightening around Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his gang, Anadolu reported.

This remark came during Erdogan’s speech on Monday after presiding over a cabinet meeting at the presidential complex in Ankara.

Erdogan referred to the ICC’s issuance of arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant, saying: “The noose is tightening around Netanyahu and his gang.”

The President affirmed that Turkiye is making significant efforts for Palestine, Gaza and Lebanon, “far more than what is visible in the media”.

He added: “We will stand with our brothers in Palestine with all our capabilities and strength until the genocide stops, and Gaza and Palestine gain their freedom.”

Erdogan continued: “God willing, the Palestinian people will achieve peace and stability after these challenging times. The oppressors will be defeated, and the Palestinian cause will ultimately prevail.”
