The Israel occupation forces demolished two Palestinian-owned buildings in Jerusalem on Thursday, the Palestinian Information Centre has reported. The occupation forces also handed out home demolition notices to Palestinian families in Al-Shuwaikeh suburb of Tulkarm in the West Bank.
The two buildings demolished were on agricultural land between Beit Annan and Beit Luqia in Jerusalem. They were owned by Jamil Rabee and Enad Hamid.
In a night of Israeli aggression, occupation forces also stormed into Al-Issawiya and Qalandia refugee camp in Jerusalem, and arrested a young Palestinian man after sabotaging his family’s house and beating him severely. His father and brother are both imprisoned in Israel.
The town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, also witnessed Israeli aggression, as the occupation forces assaulted local citizens, while firing teargas and stun grenades.
Israeli demolition policies have escalated recently in the West Bank and Jerusalem. They are intended to displace the Palestinians and expand illegal Jewish settlements, amid the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories.
