Scores of Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem this morning, under the protection of occupation forces, the Palestinian Information Centre reported.
The settlers entered the mosque through its Mughrabi Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection, according to local sources. A number of them performed Talmudic prayers.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.
