Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Ankara will continue standing by the Syrian people in the coming period, as it has done since the start of the conflict, and will provide all necessary contributions, Anadolu reported.

In remarks made yesterday during a joint press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati in the Turkish capital, Ankara, Erdogan expressed confidence that “the Syrian people, with their insight and wisdom, will navigate this phase successfully. Our goal as Turkiye and Lebanon is the revival of Syria.”

He added: “We look forward to the contribution of everyone who understands that the stability of Syria means the stability of the region, and we sincerely aim to achieve this.”
