All communication has been cut off with Palestinian medical staff, patients and journalists at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, after Israeli occupation forces ordered the evacuation of everyone inside.
According to Wafa news agency, the Israeli army surrounded the hospital and severed all lines of contact with those inside, including doctors, patients, companions and press teams.
The blackout follows demands by Israeli occupation forces for staff, patients and others to gather in the hospital courtyard, signaling a possible imminent raid.
In a farewell message shared with a medical support group, nurse Waleed Al Buddi said: “Guys, we are inside the hospital. We have been asked to go down into the hospital courtyard. We wish everyone safety, and if we are fated to, we will return to you and speak to you in better times. And forgive us for our shortcomings.”

This attack comes just a day after an Israeli air strike on the hospital killed five Palestinian staff members, including pediatrician Dr Ahmad Samour, lab specialist Israa Abu Zayda, paramedics Abdul Majid Abu Al-Eish and Maher Al-Ajrami, and maintenance worker Fares Al-Houdali.
Israeli occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege around Kamal Adwan Hospital, where 91 Palestinian patients remain trapped. Urgent appeals have been made for immediate intervention to deliver medical supplies, food and other essentials to support both patients and staff.
The hospital has suffered relentless Israeli bombardment, including drone strikes targeting its grounds and roof, further jeopardising critical supplies such as fuel and oxygen.
Meanwhile, the entry of medical supplies, food and personnel into the region remains blocked, worsening the dire conditions. Since 5 October, Israeli forces have launched a large-scale invasion of northern Gaza, carrying out indiscriminate bombings and cutting off access to basic necessities like food, wate, and medicine.
