Israel occupation forces have captured seven Hezbollah fighters since October 2023, a source close to the group told AFP yesterday.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that “seven Hezbollah fighters are in Israeli custody,” captured during battles that continued until the ceasefire took effect on 27 November.
Additionally, the source revealed that on Sunday, Israeli forces detained four individuals in villages in southern Lebanon as hundreds attempted to access these areas. Under the terms of the ceasefire deal, Israel was due to withdraw all its forces from Lebanon by 26 January, however it has maintained its presence in the area, shooting at Lebanese civilians attempting to return to their homes and land.
