Israeli occupation forces yesterday arrested three Palestinians in Khirbet Asfi in Masafer Yatta, near Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, a local source said.

An activist in Masafer Yatta, Osama Makhamreh, said Israeli occupation forces arrested two brothers, Muhammad and Maher Rashid Abu Shaker, while they were farming their land in the Tha’la area in Masafer Yatta, and Mahmoud Rasmi Makhamreh who was arrested from his home in the same area.

He pointed out that Israeli settlers began yesterday morning to pave a road on Palestinian citizens’ private lands in the area, starting from the illegal Karmiel settlement towards the Tha’la Dam to the east.

For his part, Coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, Rateb Al-Jabour, said Israeli settlers set up 15 mobile homes on Wednesday night on the Birin hill, in the Mitzpe Ziv illegal outpost.
