The Israeli occupation forces blew up houses on Friday evening in the centre of Tulkarm Camp as part of their ongoing aggression against it and the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that successive explosions were heard from inside the camp, specifically in Al-Nadi neighbourhood, with heavy smoke rising, resulting from the occupation forces detonating several houses. This caused widespread destruction and significant losses and damage to Palestinian property.

Eyewitnesses added that the occupation forces are deploying foot patrols in all the camp’s neighbourhoods, with snipers stationed inside the houses and tall buildings after seizing them and expelling their owners.

The occupation forces continue to forcibly evacuate large numbers of Palestinians from their homes, threatening them with weapons in Al-Ghanem, Al-Matar, Abu Al-Foul, Al-Nadi and Al-Shuhada neighbourhoods.

On Friday evening, Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews were able to enter some camp neighbourhoods to secure the basic needs of the besieged families who were still inside their homes, but the occupation forces hindered their work and detained them for some time.

This escalation, which has been ongoing for five days, comes amid difficult humanitarian conditions in the camp, as Palestinians suffer from the interruption of essential services such as water, electricity and communications as a result of the occupation’s bulldozers targeting the infrastructure, and a severe shortage of food, medical supplies, drinking water and baby formula.
