A Turkish aid ship arrived in Egypt’s El-Arish Port yesterday, carrying humanitarian assistance for the Gaza Strip, Sama reported.

A senior official at El-Arish Port stated that the vessel is loaded with 3,800 tonnes of humanitarian aid, shelter supplies and medical equipment, provided by the Turkish Red Crescent.

The source noted that this is the second Turkish aid ship sent to the port for Gaza, following a previous shipment that arrived last month.

An official from the Egyptian Red Crescent confirmed that the cargo is being unloaded and transferred to warehouses in El-Arish before being reloaded onto trucks for delivery to Gaza through the Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) Crossing.
