The Civil Defence in the Gaza Strip announced the evacuation of three residential towers northwest of Gaza City after a partial collapse of one of the towers, the Palestinian Information Centre reported today.

The Civil Defence explained in a statement yesterday evening that its crews evacuated Towers 8, 10 and 11 of the Al-Karama Towers northwest of Gaza City late on Tuesday, after a partial collapse in Tower 9, which was uninhabited, without any injuries being recorded.

The Civil Defence warned the residents of the towers not to live in their apartments or even approach them due their exposure to severe damage which has left them uninhabitable as a result of Israel’s relentless air strikes.

It also called on those in the displaced tents adjacent to the towers to relocate as the towers may collapse.

The Civil Defence renewed its appeal to the citizens not to return and live in the homes and buildings targeted by the Israeli occupation army, as they constitute a real risk to their lives.
