Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah yesterday held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss ongoing efforts regarding regional developments.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the call between the Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers followed Araghchi’s recent talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during his visit to Tehran.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, Araghchi stated that Iran continues its negotiations with European countries. He added that a new round of talks began in Geneva two days ago, focusing on nuclear issues and other topics.
