Gaza's Green Girls plant new seeds

Four Palestinian farmers in Gaza got together in 2020 to form Green Girls Group. The team has thrived for three years before Israel’s war in Gaza broke out. Their sole male member is currently detained by Israeli forces, and their Khuza’a farm in the southern city of Khan Yunis has been razed and remains out of reach. As the ceasefire in Gaza continues to hold, the team has decided to regroup and rebuild despite facing ruined nurseries, sky-high costs for pesticides and medicines, no electricity or clean water and salinised wells.
