Two Palestinians were killed and three others injured by Israeli occupation army fire in southern Gaza today, in the latest violation of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, medics said.
A medical source said two Palestinians lost their lives in a drone strike in central Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Three others were injured in a missile attack in western Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, medics said.
The Israeli occupation army has escalated its attacks across Gaza since yesterday, shortly after the expiry of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Four Palestinians were killed in similar attacks in the Gaza Strip yesterday.
The Israeli occupation government also halted the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza yesterday as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to start negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire deal.
The agreement had halted Israel’s genocidal war on the enclave, which killed more than 48,380 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and left the enclave in ruins.
