Turkiye and Greece yesterday confirmed their commitment to working together to further develop bilateral cooperation based on good neighbourly relations, alliance and friendship, Anadolu reported.
This came during a phone call between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, according to a statement by the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate.
The statement noted that Erdogan congratulated Mitsotakis on his 57th birthday.
Both leaders emphasised their determination to continue fostering bilateral cooperation, built on the principles of good neighbourliness, alliance and friendship.
