Health Ministry: 35 killed, 10 injured in Gaza in 24 hours

Some 35 Palestinians were killed and ten others were injured over a 24-hour period, with their bodies arriving at hospitals across the Strip, Safa reported the Ministry of Health in Gaza saying yesterday.

The ministry said in a statement that among the fatalities, 30 were retrieved from under the rubble, one person succumbed to his injuries, and four others were killed due to bombardment and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces.

The ministry added that several victims remain trapped under the debris and on the streets, with emergency and civil defence teams unable to reach them.

It also reported that the total death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 48,440, with 111,845 Palestinians injured since 7 October 2023.

The ministry urged the families of those killed or missing in the war on Gaza to register them through its online portal to ensure all details are documented.
