In meeting with Irish PM, Trump uses 'Palestinian' as a slur

In an impassioned speech during his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin, US President Donald Trump declared Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ‘a Palestinian’ who ‘used to be Jewish’ but ‘isn’t anymore.’ The remark reflects Trump’s ongoing criticism of Schumer’s stances on Israel, particularly his critiques of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and calls for new Palestinian leadership, which Trump views as disloyalty to Jewish and pro-Israel interests. This is not the first time that Trump has used the word ‘Palestinian’ in a derogatory manner.
