The number of Palestinians killed by the intensive Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday has exceeded 425, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The Israeli bombing, which targeted various areas of Gaza since dawn on Tuesday, resulted in the deaths of 174 children, constituting 43.07 per cent of the total casualties. The number of men killed was 109 (26.98 per cent), 89 women (22.03 per cent), and 32 elderly people (7.92 per cent).
These massacres coincided with the continued stifling blockade of the Gaza Strip, which has exacerbated the deteriorating humanitarian situation, especially with the shortage of medical supplies and the collapse of the health sector due to the ongoing aggression.
The Israeli occupation forces resumed their aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday, after a ceasefire lasting more than two months. Warplanes launched intensive airstrikes targeting several areas in the Strip, amid escalating artillery shelling and airstrikes.
The resumption of the attacks on the Gaza Strip comes amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Strip, due to the ongoing blockade and cutting off medical and humanitarian supplies.
