Hamas: Israel continuing its genocide by destroying homes in Jenin

Israel’s announcement of its intention to demolish 95 residential buildings in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank is “a continuation of the genocidal war” against the Palestinians, Hamas said yesterday.

It added that the announcement is “an escalation of its terrorism and a continuation of the war of extermination against our people.”

The Israeli occupation army’s intention to demolish these buildings within 24 hours is “a new crime added to its record of crimes against our people and our land, and a continuation of the war of extermination,” it said.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against Jenin, which has lasted 58 days, has resulted in the complete or partial destruction of more than 512 homes and facilities, displacing more than 21,000 of the camp’s residents, Hamas added.
