The Government Media Office in Gaza on Friday called for the immediate expulsion of Israeli ambassadors from Arab capitals as part of a unified political and diplomatic act of pressure to force the occupation to stop the massacre it is committing against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued by the media office, it also called for immediate international action to halt the policy of starvation and deprivation of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and to oblige the occupation to allow unhindered access to humanitarian aid.

The office stated: “In light of the ongoing crimes of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and holocaust committed by the Israeli occupation army, the occupation is deliberately intensifying its systematic policy of starvation and deprivation of the defenceless Palestinian people.”

It considered this: “A documented crime aimed at breaking the will to resist and eradicating civilian life, in flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws.”

The office noted: “The occupation has been imposing a stifling blockade on the Gaza Strip for 530 days, preventing the entry of food, water, medicine and fuel, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. More than 2.4 million Palestinians face the risk of famine and thirst, given the destruction of infrastructure and the prevention of relief convoys from reaching the affected areas.”

The media office warned of: “The dire consequences of this criminal policy aimed at slowly killing civilians,” stressing that “these practices are a crime of genocide punishable under international law, which requires urgent action by the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to end this crime immediately and without conditions or delay.”

It said: “The international community’s silence on these massacres is considered a dangerous complicity, putting the world to a real test of its credibility in defending human values.”

The media office condemned: “In the strongest terms, the occupation’s ongoing crimes, including systematic starvation and deprivation of life, the closure of crossings to and from Gaza, and the prevention of the entry of humanitarian aid, goods, supplies, food and fuel.”

It held the Israeli occupation and the US administration: “Fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against civilians.”

The Government Media Office called on: “All countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian civilians,” as well as to “pressure the occupation to stop these crimes, open the crossings, and allow the entry of aid immediately before it is too late.”

It stressed the need for: “Immediate international action to end the policy of starvation and deprivation and to push the occupation to allow unimpeded access to humanitarian aid.”

The media office highlighted the importance of: “Activating international accountability mechanisms against the occupation for its crimes and ensuring that it does not evade punishment.”

It also called for: “Unified Arab and Islamic action to impose political and diplomatic pressure to stop this humanitarian massacre against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” calling for the “immediate and swift expulsion of the occupation’s ambassadors from Arab capitals.”
