Israelis protest outside Netanyahu's office

Hundreds of Israeli anti-government demonstrators gather outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office in Jerusalem to protest against attempts to dismiss Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. Ahead of a scheduled cabinet no-confidence vote in her, Bahrav-Miara accused Netanyahu’s government of seeking to operate above the law and to silence the government legal advice system that she heads. This comes one day after more than 100,000 demonstrators rallied in Tel Aviv over the government’s resumption of attacks on Gaza and the planned dismissal of Baharv-Miara.
