Macklemore: 'Once you learn truth on Palestine, you can't unlearn it'

Activists gathered at an event in New York yesterday to protest the arbitrary detention of Palestinian student Mahmoud Khalil, who is currently held by US authorities pending deportation over his pro-Palestine activism on campus at Columbia University. Amongst many speakers was American rapper Macklemore who expressed solidarity with Palestinians: ‘I believe it is our moral obligation to adamantly protest the atrocities we are witnessing and funding, or we are complicit.’
