9 killed as Israel targets home in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army carried out an attack on the homes of Palestinian families in the Shuja’iyya neighbourhood in eastern Gaza this morning, resulting in the deaths of nine Palestinians, including children, and injuring numerous others.

The wounded and deceased were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.

Israel launched a surprise aerial campaign on Gaza on Tuesday, killing more than 400 Palestinians on that day – making it the most deadly day since the occupation state launched its genocidal bombing of the enclave in October 2023. The move shattered a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.

More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and more than 113,200 injured in a brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 2023.
