Major earthquake rocks Istanbul

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has rocked Istanbul and its surrounding areas making it the largest quake to hit the Turkish city in years. Starting in the Sea of Marmara, tremors were reported in North Macedonia, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
