Aisya A. Zaharin

Aisya A. Zaharin is a doctoral researcher whose work includes political science, history, social justice and Islam. She resonates with Noam Chomsky’s “The Responsibility of Intellectuals” to illuminate and critique political agendas that may shape and sway public opinion. Growing up in a “post-colonial” nation, she spent her formative years alongside her late mother, a historian, who first introduced her to the haunting history of the Sabra and Shatila massacre.
