Looting
In a report by +972 Magazine, Israeli soldiers describe how looting the property of Palestinian civilians in Gaza has become “routine”, with “minimal pushback from commanders”. Since Israel’s ground invasion into Gaza began at the end of October 2023, numerous photos and videos captured by the soldiers themselves emerged on social media showing the theft and looting from Palestinian homes.
Gaza’s media office said “at least $25 million in cash, gold and valuables” were looted in the three months after the war on Gaza was launched.
